Making print cool again, one social post at a time.


Kidding, print already rocks. And the Blurb social community is a prime example of that.


I was tasked to revive Blurb’s lacking social community when I came on board in 2022, and I did so by curating human-centered social content derived from cultivating unique user generated content and gathering corresponding author testimonials.



This strategy contributed heavily to the success of Blurb’s Instagram engagement YoY, and also showcased how much a user can appreciate a brand’s engaagement with them and their work.

As the sole social strategist, content coordinator/producer/creator, influencer marketer, and community manager for Skinit, I was always pretty busy creating cool things.


When I joined the Skinit team in 2020, I noticed a low level of engagement, and I wanted to find ways to change that. Some of those ways included:


  • Launching a TikTok page to engage with a younger audience, who could be even more likely to utilize Skinit to create a case or skin (existing social audiences skewed older.)
  • Hosting monthly giveaways of the newest tech products.
  • Highlighting community members through the #SkinitMade hashtag on socials.
  • Finding creative ways to interact with audiences and fellow brands on Twitter.

I cross-promoted the launch of Skinit’s TikTok page across all of our social channels and integrated following @skinitmade to count as entries in our monthly giveaways.


Between capitalizing on trending audios and content Ideas to entice new audiences, to gathering community on existing channels and bringing them over to Tiktok, I was able to grow the Skinit account from 0 to 10,000 followers In just over 9 months.
